The OMS LaserPoint LP01 Laser Doppler Vibrometer is an easy-to-use precision instrument for non-contact vibration measurement of any surface. The system can be instantly used by aiming the laser beam at a target at any distance up to five meters, without the need for any optical or mechanical adjustments. The system output is an analog voltage that is directly proportional to the target velocity, and can be easily viewed with an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, or data acquisition system. The LaserPoint Laser Vibrometer includes two velocity ranges and an array of low pass filter options to optimize the quality of the output signal. The standard LP01 system can measure vibration frequencies up to 20 khz, while the LP01-HF system can measure frequencies up to 100 kHz.
The OMS LaserPoint LP01 Vibrometer is based on innovative laser diode technology that uses a self-mixing architecture with no external lenses and a minimal number of optical components. This results in an extremely robust and compact vibrometer that can function well in harsh environments.
